We do love the vintage

Hello everyone, my name is Charly I’m 39 years old, I’m originally from Barcelona and I moved to Lanzarote 7 years ago. I moved to this beatiful island following my heart, now we live together with Pepa, my darling, in this beautiful island that we calling home!

I do have been working for more than 15 years as snowboard instructor and mountain guide in the Argentine Patagonia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Japan and Andorra, so when I arrived to Lanzarote I had to build an a idea from all this years travelling around the world. This is when the idea of renting campervans came out.

As a little bussines, you starting with a bit of money and much much love, this how I bought my first rental van Chatina, after two years came the second one Guantxa, and slowly we keep on growing until today that we have a lovely family of 6 campers, they all unique and have been chossen one by one, restored and bring it to our garage in Lanzarote where they are waiting for you to pick them up!

Turtles Van was born in 2019, today we are very happy to call our self an experienced classic rental company that is not just offering a rental but a fully experience.

We are a team work of three people and witout them my little big dream it could not be possible.

First of all I would like to introduce you to Darren, he is 55 years old and is originaly from England. He has been living in Lanzarote already for more than 20 years, he is super nice, funny and love to surf in Famara when he is not with his hans full of grass. It’s a fact that he still speaking spanish with a really funny english accent and you can feel lucky if you have the chance to meet such a nice guy on the way during your holidays.

Darren started with us from the very beggining and I can guarantee that without him this company will not exist. Thank you Darren for thaking the time to show me during all these years and for many more to count! It’s a blast to count on you!

I also would like to introduce you to Jorge, he is 39 years old, he is originally from Valencia, he moved to Lanzarote one year ago also following his heart after falling in love. He is a truly nice guy and is the one who spend more time in our garage, you can meet Jorge making anything with his hands, is really talented and is who tune up the vans.

This is us. Three guys that love old vans and love doing things the old way, with our hans, taking care of what we doing and caring about you. Doing our best and doing it with love!

We do rebuild vans and give them a beatiful second life and we do take care of the vans as we do care about you. Help us to reduce, reuse, recycle and let’s make this world a better place. Old but gold!
